The challenge to engage in discussions and strategies that may lead to commitments to bring about changes to the entrance of the Shenango Valley via Interstate 80, Route 60, 62, Broadway, and M.L. King Blvd. 2.  To develop strategies to engage the political and business leaders to take the initiative and ownership in developing the east side of M. L. King Blvd. and beyond in Farrell and Sharon. 3.  To challenge all political leaders, Penn Dot, SV Chamber of Commerce, city administrators, business leaders and other interested parties to purchase and install signs, advertisements etc. and placing them along I-80, 79, Rt. 60 and other portals to promote the Shenango Valley. 4.  Collaboration: We need to bring constituents and leaders to the table to discuss the above items and explore their intentions or suggestions.   Text Box: The Shenango Valley Initiative in cooperation with the SV Chamber of Commerce, Urban League of the SV, Mercer Co. Visitors Bureau, and the Mercer Co. Regional Planning Com. will host this meeting. The emphasis is the present status and future possibilities for the promotion of the Shenango Valley, Mercer County. "Enhancing the portals to Mercer County, Gateway to Pennsylvania and Ohio through the Shenango Valley," will be the target for the meeting.
